Heard of this place thru Tik Tok. Went and tried it. Wow all I can say is it’s a must try. 5min away or a hour. Especially if like frantic pie. You can taste the ingredients in every bite. I will definitely be a returning customer. This pie is called The Texas Twinkie.

I did not expect it to be this good. After watching some YouTubers from Tennessee visit here (my wife told me about it months ago) I was very skeptical of a Texas type pizza place. I’m from NY and lived in LA for a very very long time, I think I know good pizza. Texapolitan is 💯 legit and one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. Normally we like a simple pie like a pepperoni or a sausage but went for their famous and viral Texas Twinkie pizza and this was absolutely amazing. Every bite was better than the previous bite. The sauce, the brisket, the smokiness of the cream cheese and the heat from the jalapeno 🔥🔥🔥🔥 it absolutely works and is perfect in every way. For first timers, Annette the manager took such good care of us. She loves what she does and it shows. I wanted to shake the hand of the person who made our pizza and say Yes Chef!! Do not miss out on this spot. It’s literally the best pizza in Plano.

Had a great experience here getting two slices of pizza. They offer cheese and pepperoni slices for around $4-5 and specialty slices for around $6.50. Got the Texas Twinkie (jalapenos, cream cheese, brisket, bacon, and various cheeses) and the Upside Down which they described as a Margherita with the sauce on top instead of bottom. They heated everything up and it came out very fast. It's always a pet peeve of mine when you order by the slice and it takes forever to come out. They toasted it so the crust was very crispy while still being thin like a true New York Style. I really liked both slices as everything tasted fresh and it was an explosion of flavor that was pretty balanced. Texas Twinkie had a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce, savoriness and smokiness from the meats, creaminess from the cheeses and a little kick (not much) from the jalapenos. My only minor complaint was that the crust was a bit on the crunchier side and drier from the toasting. I appreciate that they take effort into making quality pies. Price is pretty good and excited to see what else they offer as the pie of the month in the future. Definitely adding it to the rotation!

Saw Texapolitan on TikTok and decided to stop in for a couple of slices. Started with pepperoni — solid baseline, executed well. Then ordered the Texas Twinkie specialty slice — smoked brisket, bacon cream cheese, fresh jalapeños, mozzarella and provolone on red sauce. Outstanding. Crust was crunchy outside and soft inside, sauce was perfectly balanced, jalapeños brought real heat. Both slices were hearty and filling. $14.28 for two slices — remarkable value for the quality. Staff was extremely friendly — genuinely warm and welcoming for what could easily be just another quick slice stop. Left wanting more. Returning every time I’m in Plano. SAS Verdict: Approved. The Texas Twinkie slice is the reason to go. Don’t skip it.

This place hands down serves the best pizza in DFW. Trust me, I’ve been to all of the most relevant competitors. You should come here and try it before Dave comes through and blows this place up with an 8+ During the month of April they are serving a Texas Twinkie Pizza, which is now among my FAVORITE slices of pizza I’ve had anywhere in the country. Beyond the specialty slices, their cheese slice is my uncontested favorite in DFW. It has an excellent balance of salt with the cheese, and the sauce is fresh. On all of their slices there is ZERO flop and an amazing crunch. Their meats are smoked in house as the owners have a background in Texas BBQ and the service is always exceptional every time we visit.
